Our School equipped with modern, comfortable student facilities. As a Malvern House student, you are welcome to use any of the facilities in their centre.
The Malvern House London centre has an Internet cafe offering free high speed Internet access to Malvern House students. We also offer WiFi Wireless Internet for anybody who brings their own laptop.
Malvern House has a study room in their school. It is are fully equipped with books, DVDs and newspapers. Students can purchase excursions across the UK from the study centre assistants. They also have listening equipment that can be used to listen to special books that have been adapted for your level of English.
Malvern House has plenty of places to meet with friends and chill out. The school has a student lounge where you can relax at break times to watch TV, DVD’s and read magazines in great comfort.
Malvern House London has 18 classrooms in our centre. For some classes and in periods of high enrolment Malvern House may use classrooms in buildings close to our centres; students who study in these external classrooms will still have access to all school facilities.
General English classes develop all aspects of the English language including speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing.
The focus is on improving your ability to communicate clearly and effectively.The syllabus for your lessons is based on your course book, but your teacher will also use lots of other materials, including suggestions from students so the content of the class is useful and interesting. You will be expected to participate as much as possible.
You will work individually, in pairs and groups as well as the whole class. Your teacher will correct your spoken and written errors so that you will become more accurate and you will progress quickly. Each week, you will be given homework and at the end of the week you will have the opportunity to revise what you have learnt

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It assesses a student’s capability in communicating in English through listening, reading, writing and speaking. Over 1,000,000 tests are taken each year, mostly by those wishing to attend an English-taught course at university or college. It is accredited by the UKBA for visa application purposes (Tier 4).
Malvern House offer the IELTS preparation at 1 level ( mid/high). This allows you to target the score necessary and appropriate to your level. You will be tested before commencing the course, making sure that you are placed in a class which exactly fits your level. Use the University Placement Service to assist you in gaining a place at University in the UK.
Malvern House will help you book the exam once you have started your course. The fee is not included in our prices and has to be paid at the school.
Cambridge certificates are acknowledged by employers and education institutions throughout the world.
Malvern House offer the two most popular exams which are for students of pre-intermediate level and above.
Study all day long and make the maximum progress. Combine General English with either Business English or Exam English (IELTS or Cambridge).
English and work placement programme provides students with the opportunity to study and work in an English-speaking environment. Students will cover the four skills of English along with improving their knowledge of the grammatical and lexical rules underpinning the language, as well as having a hands-on work experience.

Work placements can be arranged for students attending a minimum four-week Working English course. These are unpaid but give students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the UK workplace. This course is available for holders of European passport and students on a Tier 5 visa only.
